Woman with allergies in Savannah, GA.

If you don’t want to use medication to manage your allergies seeing a chiro gives you a natural allergy solution so you don’t need to rely on daily medication and can enjoy being outside even if you are a seasonal allergy suffer.

What Causes Allergies?

Allergies are a response when the immune system produces immunoglobulin in response to the material that the person is allergic to. The substance you are allergic to doesn’t actually cause the allergic reaction since it’s usually harmless.

How a Chiropractic Helps Allergies

A chiropractic adjustment won’t cure the allergy but it could provide the allergy sufferer with some relief. Regular chiropractic care helps strengthen the immune system, which helps fight allergies.

Adjustments can also help the body produce cortisone, an anti-inflammatory hormone that combats the rush of histamine the allergy produces.

Many patients are surprised when they are receiving chiropractic treatment and find some of their allergy symptoms have been relieved. At Crossroads Chiropractic and Wellness Center, we can help you improve your overall health and comfort.
